Introduction:
Have you ever wondered what it's like to witness the birth of an innovative app that has the potential to revolutionize the way students manage their study routines? Well, you're in for a treat because we're embarking on an exciting journey to build an AI-powered Study Planner web app right here at HackeroX, and we're going to do it in public! π
Project Overview:
Our mission is clear: to empower HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) students in Mumbai with a dynamic and personalized study planner. We want to create a sense of urgency for students to start studying, intelligently allocate their time, and visualize their progress. What sets us apart is that our app is tailored specifically for HSC students and is developed by experts in the field. AI will play a pivotal role in personalization, making study planning less time-consuming for educators.
Why Build in Public:
Building in public is all about transparency and knowledge sharing. Here's why we're doing it:
Transparency: Building in public shows your audience that you're transparent about your product development process. We are all for knowledge sharing and would love to share anything new that we learn that will help others better build products.
Feedback: Sharing our progress and updates with our audience can help us gather valuable feedback and insights. This can help us improve our product and better meet our customers' needs.
The Web App Challenge:
But we're not stopping at just building a web app; we're setting a challenge for ourselves. Here it is: "Within 10 weeks, build a web application and scale it from 0 to 100 monthly active users." ποΈπͺ
We know, it sounds aggressive, but that's where the excitement lies. A common question we hear is "How can you build software that quickly?"
Our take: By focusing on solving a really specific problem the simplest way possible. Weβre not trying to create an all-in-one solution, but rather solve a single, really painful problem and work from there. That means intentionally keeping the scope small and ruthlessly prioritizing only the most important features needed to deliver value to our users. π―
Meet Our Team:
Now, let's introduce you to the two brilliant minds who are driving this project forward:
1. Enrique Dcosta: Allow us to introduce Enrique Dcosta, a multifaceted developer with a strong foundation in C, Java, Python, and a plethora of web development technologies. With a track record of academic excellence and a passion for data analysis, Enrique brings a wealth of technical skills and a knack for problem-solving to our development team. His experience as a Google Developers Student Club Marketing Associate and Public Relations Associate demonstrates his commitment to excellence and community engagement.
2. Rahil Kothari: Meet Rahil Kothari, a passionate problem solver and coding enthusiast. Despite being relatively new to the world of computer engineering, Rahil's ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies is nothing short of impressive. With a track record of projects showcasing his skills, Rahil is a valuable asset to our development team.
These two full stack developers are the driving force behind this project. Their dedication, expertise, and passion for creating a valuable solution for HSC students are what make this journey possible.
Stay tuned as we share their experiences and insights throughout this development journey π
